General Liability
Coverage for third-party bodily injury and property damage that comes out of your operations, plus personal and advertising injury. This is the policy most GCs, property owners, and cities ask to see first. Start a general liability quote.
Products-Completed Operations
What if a claim shows up months after you finish a job? Completed operations coverage is for injury or damage that comes from work you already finished. Many contracts require it, sometimes for years after the project is done.
Excess & Umbrella Liability
The contract says $5,000,000. Your policy says $1,000,000. Excess and umbrella coverage can add limits above your general liability and employer's liability so you can meet higher contract requirements. Limits up to $10M may be available, subject to underwriting. Learn about commercial excess insurance.
Contractors Equipment
Coverage for owned, leased, and rented machinery and tools, from hand tools to skid steers and mini excavators. Covered perils depend on the policy form. If you rent equipment, the rental company may hold you responsible for damage, and sometimes for the days the machine can't be rented.
Inland Marine
Coverage for property on the move or temporarily off-site, such as materials in transit, materials waiting to be installed, and property you're installing for a customer.
Builders Risk
Coverage for a structure while it's under construction or renovation, including materials on site. Some policies can include soft costs, such as extra interest or permit fees after a covered loss.
Workers' Compensation
In California, employers generally need workers' comp for their employees. Many GCs also want a waiver of subrogation on your WC policy. Start a workers' compensation quote.
Commercial Auto
Your trucks, vans, and trailers need commercial coverage, and contracts often list auto requirements too. Learn about commercial auto insurance.
